Through the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message. You provide this data yourself. Your message also carries the page you sent the form from, the pages you visited during the same visit, and where you arrived from. This data lives only in your browser session, contains no identifiers, and does not track you across sites.

About the use of the site we collect analytics data, such as the pages visited, the duration of visits and the device type. Analytics data does not include your name or your contact details.

We use the data from contacts to respond to your message and to prepare for collaboration. The basis for the processing is carrying out pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries.

We use analytics data to develop the site: to understand which content is useful and which is not. We use marketing cookies to target and measure advertising, and their basis is your consent.

The site uses three kinds of cookies. Necessary cookies and equivalent local storage enable the site to function: they remember your language and audience choices (B2B/B2C), your cookie preferences, and your answer to the "How did you hear about us?" question (as a numeric code, for 365 days) so we do not ask again. They contain no identifiers and cannot be switched off. With analytics cookies we measure the use of the site. With marketing cookies we target and measure advertising.

We use Google Analytics for analytics and the cookies of Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn to measure and target advertising. These load only after you have given your consent. Before consent we do not set analytics or marketing cookies.

You can manage analytics and marketing cookies from the cookie settings, which are shown on your first visit. You can open the settings and change your choice at any time from the button below.

We also use cookieless visitor measurement (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights), which tells us page view counts and load speed. It does not store data on your device, does not create a persistent identifier, and does not track you across sites, so it does not require consent.

We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data is processed on our behalf by service providers that we need in order to run the site and our communications, such as analytics and email services. Some service providers may process data outside the EU, in which case the transfer is based on the safeguards approved by the European Commission.

We retain contact and quote requests for up to 24 months from the last contact. If a contact leads to a client relationship, we retain the data for the duration of the relationship and, after it ends, for as long as the Finnish Accounting Act requires. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.

You have the right to access the data concerning you, to request its rectification or erasure, to object to the processing and to request restriction of the processing. You can withdraw consent-based processing at any time.

You can exercise your rights by sending a request to info@mediashake.fi. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, that is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

We update this policy when our processing or the tools we use change. At the top of this page you can see when the policy was last updated.
